We are a fun loving family of six. We live in a small town in North Western Pa with a few acres of ground, chickens, a horse, and a dog named BanJo. We have been married for 15 years and have 4 children.
Bob is a mechanic and enjoys hunting, building things, and spending time with his family. His motto is: “If man made it, I can fix it” He is also an expert at giving piggyback rides. Rose is a nurse who works with special needs children in their homes. She likes sewing, crafts and baking. Her blueberry muffins are a favorite and the smell of them baking is enough to make your mouth water. Mary, 13, is the oldest. She enjoys reading, spending times with her bff Kayley, and countless hours with her horse Cricket. Her second home is the barn!
Noah is 11 and has quiet the sense of humor. He enjoys Legos, puzzles, and just about every sport. The two youngest, Allen (3) and Zander (2) are typical boys. Digging in the dirt and playing with their trucks are a few of their favorite things to do. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, fairs in the summer, and sledding in the winter. Camping in our big back yard near the campfire is another favorite. And if it rains, blanket tents in the living room with roasted marshmallows on the stove.
Our desire to adopt:
Having fostered, as well as adopted those with special needs, we feel in our hearts, as well as Gods calling, to continue to provide a home for others with special needs.
With God at the center of our lives, we are pointed in the right direction, and guided by his love. We make eternal things priority.
Dear Birth Mom/parents:
We have such respect and admiration for you and the brave decision you are considering. We offer you peace and strength at a time that is difficult in ways we can only imagine. We will offer all the love, support, and stability that your child could need. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. We look forward to hearing all about you!
