Cox Family

Stephen and Tammy Cox – California

Dear Birth Parents,

Hello! We are grateful that you have taken the time to allow us to tell you about our family. We understand that the decision to choose adoption and picking the right family, is one of the most selfless and hardest choices that you have had to make.

We are Stephen and Tammy. We are high school sweet hearts that have been happily married for 20 years now. We are a very energetic couple that love the outdoors, the beach, hiking, going to sport events, going to amusement parks and enjoy playing with our children. We believe in taking our children with us to as many things as possible, so they can enjoy the activities with us. Stephen works for the government and has been at his job for 20 years. Tammy is a stay at home Mom and has been for 6 years.

We have three children. Katelyn is 6, she is the energetic, fun loving, girly girl. She is going into first grade this year and has been doing really well in school. Anne is 4 years old. Anne is a beautiful little girl that loves to smile and give hugs. She has a rare syndrome called Aicardi Syndrome and has been diagnosed with Autism, low muscle tone, and has seizures. She is doing great on her medications for seizures, has physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, ABA therapy, and attends school. She has really done great with all of the therapy services that she gets. Nathan just turned 2. He was born with Hydrocephalus. He was later diagnosed with blindness, severe hearing loss, high muscle tone, seizures, difficulty eating (just had G tube placed) and recently cerebral palsy. Even though he has endured a lot in his young life, the boy smiles and laughs all of the time. He also receives physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy to help him strive as much as possible. All three children have been adopted around 2-3 months of age. Each one of them bring such great happiness into our lives. When we see them doing so well, it makes us so happy. We learn so much from them and we have seen them overcome so much at such young ages. Its amazing.

Our experiences over the years have been life changing. We would provide your baby a stable, loving home with lots of laughter, knowledge, encouragement, and unconditional love. We want the best for your baby.

Prayers for you and your family,
Stephen and Tammy
