For Birth Parents
|
We are a Christian family living in. We have been married for nearly six years, and have a two and a half year old little boy (bio). John is 28 years old. Takisha is 24 years old, and is a stay at home mom. We both came to Christ at different times in our lives. He is our guide through all things, and we put our complete lives in His hands. It is through Him that we believe everything is possible, and everything happens. It is through Him that we are forgiven, and will walk the streets of Heaven some day. God has laid it on our hearts to adopt a child with special needs. We feel led to open our homes and hearts to a child who we could love and support forever.
Dear Loving Mother, We would first like to say that we are very much appreciative of your love for such a beautiful child. We are John and Takisha Knapp. Our home is located in Kentucky, and we have one son who is 2 1/2. Parenting is one of the most joyous journeys we could have ever dreamed of taking part in. Our son was born premature, and we were advised not to have anymore biological children. It wasn't to difficult as we had already decided before marriage that we would love to adopt. God has given us such a dream of adopting children with special needs. We have capacity and desire to love and care for children with all types of uniqueness. We both have been blessed with a close and supportive family. Our children will have grandparents in the medical field, aunts who are counselors and nurses, and cousins who themselves have some special needs. This whole group puts their faith in Jesus, and through that we have been blessed with a special bond. It would be a blessing to add children to this family. Your child would be unconditionally loved and cherished. We thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, John & Takisha
