Lang Family,

Our family consists of three adult biological daughters, their husbands, three adult son's, none of whom are married...yet and our three son's at home. Our daughters have gone on to be productive wives and loving mothers to our nine beautiful grandchildren. Our adult son's grew into hard working, honest caring young men.

At home, our oldest son, AJ will be graduating next year. AJ wants to work in construction once he's finished with high school. AJ has a soft side and a beautiful smile. He enjoys church and youth group. Ty is a senior this year. Ty is a very caring, compassionate young man. Ty plays keyboard at church and enjoys youth group. He play's football at his high school, his position is WR wide receiver. He has a real passion for the game and hopes to receive a scholarship. Ty plans to go to college and take fire science, his goal is to become a fire fighter. His other option is the Marines.

Our youngest son, Randen is a 4th grader who loves reading and playing the piano. When he was five years old he was invited to a local church to play Christmas music which he did beautifully. After the program, I explained that not only did he make the peoples hearts happy....he made Jesus' heart happy too. Randen has been featured in the Focus On The Family ClubHouse Jr. magazine twice. He is a very tender hearted child always willing to help and trusts God completely. He wants to be a missionary when he grows up. We live in a very diverse neighborhood in a large five bedroom home where we have lived for over twenty years. We enjoy movies, camping, fishing, ice skating, serving and many sports. We have open adoptions with our son's birth families which perhaps is not for everyone, for us has been a blessing. We exchange pictures, email etc..

We believe that there is one true God, that he sent his son, Jesus Christ into the world to give all who believe and accept him as their Lord and Savior will have eternal life. John 3:16 We believe in water baptism and are members of our church. As a family, we attend regularly. We believe God's calling, our ministry is adopting African American children. Teaching our children about God's love for them and by example teach them to love and serve him. We both work in Kid's Church and at the AWANA club. We both grew up in large families and always knew we wanted our family to be a large family as well.

There are no words that can lessen the pain you feel as you make a decision to parent or place your child. Thoughts race through your mind, what should I do? God, help me. Be assured, God is there to help you in your struggle. He knew before "you" were born that this day would come and he lovingly and patiently is waiting for you to call on him. Ask the Lord to direct you and give you peace. Whether you decide it best for you and your child to parent your child or place your child for adoption with a loving family, God will give you wisdom and strength as you call upon his name. Jeremiah 33:3

God bless!
